Mandan
Mandan hosts many events during the year. The hometown atmosphere comes to life during Buggies n' Blues Fest, the second weekend in June featuring Art in the Park downtown. You can also catch a good ol' fashioned rodeo during the Mandan Rodeo Days in the beginning of July.
At 9:30 a.m.(CDT), tens of thousands of spectators from around the world will line the streets of Mandan, North Dakota to celebrate Independence Day with the region's largest parade. The Mandan Independence Day Parade is also the the state's longest parade.
Weeknights during the summer at the Dykshoorn Park, music fills the air with Free summer concerts provided by the local Musicians Association.
Another attraction you don't want to miss in Mandan is the Fort Lincoln State Park, you can see where Custer lived! You can also check out On-a- Slant Village, where the peaceful Mandan Indians farmed and lived.
Travel the mighty Missouri aboard the Lewis and Clark Riverboat, tour the Railroad museum, or stop at the Five Nations Arts located in our historic railroad Depot for authentic Native American Art.
There are also things for the more adventurous such as Huff Hills which offers snow boarding and skiing in the Winter. There is also the Community Center has a skate park along with a 24-hole challenging frisbee golf course.

Raging Rivers Water Park offers summer entertainment with mini golf, water slides and a lazy river. Enjoy auto racing at Dacotah Centennial Park or a couple rounds of golf at one of our two golf courses. Mandan has 14 miles of walking and bike trails along with a new soccer complex and a renovated baseball field. There is indoor swimming and a fitness center at our Community Center as well.
